Who is the Client and what is the Project?...
The community garden at the Waterworks in North Belfast is managed by Grow and is set in an area of a Belfast City Council park. This public space has seen its fair share of trouble over the years and is protected by a huge fence. We have helped to turn this into a shared space, what was once a neglected corner of a park, a no mans land, has become an area where 20 or so gardeners from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances have come together to grow vegetable and their communities.Siobhan would like a website to promote the organisation and the work they do, to make people aware and encourage others to get involved.

Some sites which the client has expressed she likes are as below.
Reasons for liking these sites include simple design, strict 4 colour code, image dominant and aesthetically friendly sites.
Over the next week I will be working on logo designs, wire frames, colour schemes and mock ups.
Logo Design
I used Photoshop and Illustrator to create my logo designs. I based them on elements of gardening and developed the hands as flower idea as I really liked it. I also liked the single 'G' instead of using 'Grow Community Gardens' all the time so I have also developed that concept...
My favourite is the butterfly/hands as I think it combines the elements of gardening and community really well. I think this is the one I will use for the site.
